The mornings should be reserved for thinking, the afternoons for doing, evenings for relaxing, and nighttimes for sleeping.

Hello World!

This is it - I’m embracing the Social Web. I’ve reactivated my Flickr, downloaded Instagram, linked them all to my Facebook, and now I’m on Tumblr. 

I draw the line at Twitter. I will not “tweet”. 

The opening of a new blog - it seems like it should be a momentous occasion, as my first post is going to set the tone for all other posts I do from here on in. What should I do? Should I introduce myself? Express my thoughts on this weird and wonderful new world of communication? Link to a witty YouTube?

Let’s look back on how I’ve introduced myself in the past, back to my first publicly viewable online persona: LiveJournal. DUN DUN DUN.

So, having just read over the first month’s entries I made there (in June 2001! How future-cool was I?), I can safely say I will try my hardest to not to make this a repeat of that debacle. The best way for me to do that? I’m going to shut up now.

PS Remember Quickdot? I was on there too! And my email address was at Ureach! Good god, future-cool doesn’t even begin to describe me at 16…
